Ergonomics and Biplax

Ergonomics is the science that studies the relationship between an object and its user, helping to design equipment that is more comfortable, practical and adaptable. It is based on four fields: Physiology, Anthropometry, Biomechanics and Psychology, and Biplax focuses on their findings to develop its chairs.

Bearing in mind that we spend a large part of the day seated at work and in unsuitable postures, Biplax manufactures all its models on the basis of concern for the welfare of the user.

Ergonomic testing at Biplax
In order to manufacture products that are comfortable, safe, simple and straightforward to use, Biplax chairs are subjected to different ergonomic tests, for which the products are sent to several specialised laboratories. The products manufactured by Biplax have been designed from an ergonomic perspective to avoid the discomfort stemming from bad postures or inadequate chairs.
