From its creation in 1964 to date, Biplax Industrias del Mueble, S.A. has remained one of the leading companies in the production of office seating in Spain.
Biplax began its activity by manufacturing sofa-beds and soon focused its activity on the manufacture of office seating, becoming a leading firm in the research and development involving this product. The Basque firm was intuitively aware of the importance of values such as design and ergonomics and began focusing its efforts on these areas.
The company commenced exporting in 1970 and was one of the pioneering firms in this field. This mission has remained unchanged and today the firm boasts a presence in all five continents. All the company´s products are also backed by CIDEMCO, which certifies the quality of the materials used in production.
